Joel Ellis
Joel grew up attending churches of Christ in the Birmingham area and began preaching in 1998. He preached for churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia, in addition to preaching in meetings around the US and in eastern Europe. Over time Joel's convictions began to shift on the subjects of God's grace and the justification of man, and in 2013 he and his family moved to Arizona to work with Community Christian Church in Apache Junction, AZ, on the east side of Phoenix. Over the next three years, Joel and the church embraced more orthodox reformed views, joined the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and became Reformation OPC. Joel and his wife, Kirstie, have five children.
